Liturgical Art as shown here, represents original Liturgical art that is integrated into the Christian worship setting, to serve and glorify God the Father, Jesus Christ the Savior, and the Holy Spirit.

‘Liturgical’ refers to the ‘work’ or ‘worship-related responses of the people’, as a Christ-centered Community of Believers.

These works also present two contexts for liturgical art-making: 1) Artist-made altar cloths, stoles, chancel hangings and meditative wall art are created on behalf of the worship assembly. 2) Community-made sanctuary art and installations which reflect the participation of multi-age church members, who respond individually to a visual concept.

Niles Congregational UCC on 10/24/2009, Niles Congregational Church hosted one of over 5,000 actions world-wide coordinated by 350.org to build awareness and pressure on political leaders about Global Warming and Climate Change.

Well-behaved or kenneled animals of all sorts, and their human
escorts, were warmly invited to the sixth annual Blessing of
the Animals at Niles Congregational Church of Fremont, United Church of
Christ, on Saturday, October 10, at 2:00. The service included
a time to give thanks for companion animals, as well as
other animals upon whom we are dependant
