Board Positions

Board positions are a two-year commitment. Nominees
and officers are voted on and approved at the Annual
Meeting in each May when the new term begins.

the month from 7:30pm - 9:00pm
consider volunteering or saying YES if asked.
No matter what your talents, we've got a spot for
you.

|
This board stays aware of the hurts, needs, and joys
within the congregation and seeks ways of response
that are caring and healing. They also prepare for
and assist in the worship service, the sacraments,
and arrange for music.

|
|
(BCE) oversees our Sunday School program by selecting
curriculum and teaching resources and recruiting and
training teachers. They are also responsible for a
variety of children's events including Rally Day and
the Advent Festival.

The Board of Trustees
|
The Trustees have been broken down into two groups.
One is responsible for overseeing our budget and finance
concerns and the other group is responsible for the
maintenance issues of the church and the parsonage.

The Board of Social Concerns
|
(BSC) provides information on local, national and
international activities and concerns which should
be brought to the attention of the Congregation. They
organize dinners at the Homeless Shelter, participate
in the Winter Shelter program for the homeless, and
raise money for various causes or groups such as One
Great Hour of Sharing.

|
(BEO) plans for the sharing of our faith and the
recruitment of new members. They contact visitors
that attend Sunday worship, organize and lead new
member meetings, and plan social events for the church
members and those exploring church membership.
